What information we collect
We collect only what the website needs to work and to answer you.
- Contact form: your name, email address, topic, message and the page you sent it from.
- Bookings: made on Peek, a third-party booking platform. Payment data is entered on Peek, never on this website.
- WhatsApp link: opens WhatsApp, which is governed by its own privacy policy.
- Google Maps: some pages embed a Google map. When it loads, Google may set cookies or collect data under its own policy.
- Cookies and analytics: only with your consent, as described below.
- Server logs: our hosting provider, Hostinger, records technical data such as IP address and browser type when you visit the site.
The contact form
When you send the contact form, we store your submission as a private record (a lead) in the website administration, readable only by the park's administrators. We keep it until your request is resolved.
The team receives a notification by email, and you receive an automatic confirmation at the address you provided. Emails are sent through the company's mail server.
To limit spam, the website keeps an anonymised (hashed) version of your IP address, never the address itself, for 1 hour to count how many messages come from the same source.
Bookings and payments
Bookings are completed on Peek, a third-party booking platform, which acts as an independent provider. Payment data is entered on Peek and is never received or stored by this website. Please read Peek's own privacy policy before booking.
Cookies and analytics
The website shows a consent banner. Until you choose, Google Consent Mode v2 keeps analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization denied by default.
The banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies. Only if you accept, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 load and measure how the site is used so we can improve it. If you decline, they do not collect analytics data.
Your choice is stored in your browser (localStorage, key peva_cookie_consent) and does not expire. You can change it at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer.
Why we use your information and on what basis
We use your information to respond to your requests, to manage bookings, to keep the website secure and free of spam, and, only with your consent, to measure and improve the website. Our legal bases are your request, our legitimate interest in running a secure website, and your consent.
How long we keep it
Contact form submissions are kept until your request is resolved. The anonymised IP used for anti-spam limits is kept for 1 hour. Your cookie choice stays in your browser until you change or clear it. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of our Google Analytics 4 account. Data held by Peek, Google, WhatsApp and Hostinger follows their own policies.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to its use, and to withdraw your consent at any time.
These rights are recognised by Costa Rica's Law No. 8968, Protection of the Person against the Processing of their Personal Data (Ley de Protección de la Persona frente al Tratamiento de sus Datos Personales), and, for visitors in the European Union, by the GDPR where it applies.

Children
This website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
